Return and Refund Policy
Draft policies for local testing; merchant confirmation is required before commercial use.
Test arrangements and draft status
Draft dated 18 October 2026. The BORVIN TRADING COMPANY LIMITED website currently accepts test orders only. The actual amount charged is HK$0 and no goods are dispatched, so there is no real payment to refund or product to return. Contact BTTM969@outlook.com or 84172350 for test order assistance. The following live-trading arrangements are a draft for merchant confirmation and require verified products, logistics, an actual return address and operational capacity before live sales.
Voluntary seven-day unopened returns
Proposed arrangement: for a change-of-mind return or exchange, contact us within seven calendar days starting on the day after delivery. Goods must be unopened and unused, with complete packaging, labels and accessories. This is a proposed voluntary merchant policy, not a claim that the Hong Kong Trade Descriptions Ordinance grants a seven-day no-reason return right for all online purchases. Any item-specific restriction on voluntary returns must be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Faults, incorrect goods and statutory rights
If goods are faulty, incorrect, inconsistent with their description or affected by misleading representations, contact us promptly and keep reasonable evidence. Available returns, refunds or other remedies will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable Hong Kong law, including the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26). The Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362) also prohibits unfair trade practices such as false trade descriptions and misleading omissions. The seven-day, unopened and complete-packaging conditions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns. They do not limit statutory rights, and opening goods for inspection or missing packaging will not alone bar a remedy required by law.
Request and return process
Proposed process: email BTTM969@outlook.com with your order number, contact details, item and reason. Photos may help demonstrate faults; unnecessary personal information is not required. The target is to reply within two business days with suitable return instructions and a confirmed address. Do not send goods to a registered office without confirmation: a registered office is not necessarily a return address. If inspection is necessary, we will explain why and give an expected completion time. Internal approval procedures do not override statutory rights.
Shipping costs and exchanges
Proposed arrangement: the buyer pays return postage for voluntary change-of-mind returns. No restocking fee applies; the refund includes the amount paid for the goods and the original standard delivery charge. Price differences and any new delivery charge for an exchange will be explained and agreed before proceeding. Where a return or exchange is required because of our error, faults or misdescription, the merchant bears reasonable necessary shipping costs in both directions rather than passing its responsibility to the buyer.
Refund method and timing
Proposed target: initiate a refund within seven business days after receipt of goods that need returning and completion of necessary verification, or within seven business days after confirmation where no return is required. Any delay will be explained with an updated date, subject to any shorter applicable statutory deadline. Refunds normally go to the original payment method; store credit will not be forced in place of a refund legally due. Bank or provider posting times vary, and a refund reference will be provided for follow-up. These two- and seven-business-day periods are proposed service targets, not claimed universal statutory deadlines. This test site does not process real refunds.
